If today Grapes & Bites is a celebrated wine house , located in the heart of Lisbon and Funchal, it is due not to one, but to several love stories. It all began with the love between Sílvia and António Baeta, the “original parents” of this house. Their story is joined by their love for the flavours and traditions of Portugal: he, a wine lover and its rituals, she, a lover of regional gastronomy. In 2010, Sílvia and António united their passions and desires and opened the doors of Grapes & Bites in the charismatic Bairro Alto to give the world a taste of the best of their country. In a welcoming and sophisticated environment, they made Portuguese wines the hosts of the wine and gastronomic experience, in a concept where food accompanies the wine.
